We have the exact same problem with headstands. I finally did a few yesterday -- with my head on a cushion and my feet against the wall. Oy. Let's keep trying :)

Nice! Yes, maybe the wall would help me. I tried with cushions, but no wall.

Also, one of my teachers is having me do forearm push-ups to build my arm strength. Basically, you do plank on your forearms and then move your body into downward dog, still with your forearms on the floor. So your arms don't move, but your body goes from plank to downward dog and back again. I think it's working (since I can't lift my arms after a couple of sets of them). We will keep trying! :)
